Kokosing was founded in 1951 and, over the past 75 plus years, has grown to become one of the largest family-owned construction companies in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic. The company currently employs over 3,500 people. Kokosing Solar is the group within Kokosing Industrial focused on Solar Power Projects.
The last thing we like to hear from customers is that they had a bad experience with another solar company. Solar is a competitive market and there are many companies out there who are in it for the wrong reasons. Kokosing Solar has been a member with the BBB for over 25 years, has an A+ rating, and many reviews from happy customers.
NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) is the “gold standard” certification in the solar industry. Kokosing Solar is proud to have Certified Installation Professionals on staff. Kokosing Solar’s Director of Solar Strategy, Geoff Greenfield, is the Vice-Chair of the NABCEP Board of Directors.
Amicus Solar is a purchasing cooperative made up of leading solar installers with a like-minded approach to business. Membership in Amicus Solar allows Kokosing Solar to achieve “scale” while still maintaining nimbleness, customer focus and “family business feel” of a smaller local company.
Every one of our team members is passionate about solar. It shows in every Kokosing Solar project. Today, solar is about more than idealism — it is about practicality.
