A Solar Group Buy program is designed to bring communities together to get a better price when they go solar. The discount grows as more neighbors sign up.

The Community Solar Group Buy program is designed to bring neighbors who want to go solar together, which creates a scale and efficiency that allows Kokosing Solar to offer increased savings. When we group solar installations, we are able to reduce our costs and pass those savings on to the participants of the Central Ohio Group Buy program.

What is the timeline for the Solar Group Buy Program?

The Group Buy program launched on September 25th and will run until the end of the year. The last day for prospective members to join will be ~~January 2nd~~ January 19th.

Who can be a Group Buy member?

Any home, business or non-profit in Franklin, Delaware, Licking, Fairfield, Pickaway, Madison, and Union County who signs up during the above timeframe will be entered into the Franklin County Community Solar Group Buy Program.

What is the installation timeline?

Group Buy installations will be scheduled in groups, just like the name implies, to create operational efficiencies. If homeowner schedule accommodations are required that delay the installation past May 1, 2024, the discount may be revoked.

What are the additional perks of joining the Group Buy Program?

Get installed quickly, have a choice over your solar equipment, go solar with an experienced installer and get access to individualized warranty options

What if I sign up before the end of the program?

Please be aware that your total discount will be calculated based on the final number of participants at program close. This discount will be shown as a deduct change order and applied to your final invoice.
