Columbus, Ohio, does not have specific solar incentives available to its residents.  But, anyone who qualifies can take advantage of the Investment Tax Credit.    

Investment Tax Credit

In 2016 Columbus, Ohio, was awarded a $10 million grant through the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Smart City Challenge.    

In 2015, only 0.38% of new cars purchased in the seven-county region were EVs. Columbus set a goal to increase EV ownership by 500% to 1.8% by 2020.    

Fortunately, the city is on pace to meet or surpass that goal, with EV sales exceeding 2% of vehicles sold at the end of 2018.
