Third Sun Solar is honored to donate Solar Systems in our community for a brighter and cleaner tomorrow.
Third Sun Solar volunteered the design, engineering, and construction of a 27 panel roof-mounted solar array in Millfield, Ohio.
Solid Ground School is a 501c3 non-profit. Solid Ground School is a place-based, progressive learning community where children, families, and educators can grow deep.
When children grow deep, strong roots, they grow strong branches that unfold into a beautiful, interconnected canopy of community.
Third Sun Solar was thrilled to donate a Solar System at the Chauncey-Dover Community Park trailhead. A $16,000 kW system installed on the rooftop of the restroom facility to offset the costs for the village of Chauncey and kickstart their efforts to lower their carbon footprint. The Baileys Trail System is located in the heart of Southeast Ohio. The Baileys Trails are currently comprised of 26 trail miles, optimized for all levels of mountain biking, trail running, hiking & enjoying nature.
Third Sun Solar proudly donated a 22 panel ground-mounted solar array to local non-profit, Women for Recovery, of Athens, Ohio. This addition to the Serenity Grove facility will greatly reduce the nonprofit’s utility costs for the next two decades or more. Located just outside the city of Athens, Serenity Grove is a Level 2 transitional recovery house for women struggling with substance use disorders. Women come to Serenity Grove to learn to live independently, to heal, and to gain back their lives. Built on seven wooded acres in the Ohio countryside, Serenity Grove is open to women who have completed an inpatient treatment program and/or who have at least 30 days clean.
Third Sun Solar's first donated solar system in partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Southeast Ohio in effort to gift homeowner stability and independence they need to build a better future for themselves and their families.
