This City Hall, Police, & Fire Municipal Complex shows how easily solar can fit into a modern public-safety campus. Kokosing Solar designed and installed solar carport canopies that help offset the facilities energy use while giving staff and visitors the bonus of covered parking.
This wasn’t your typical solar job. This project called for big drill rigs, excavators, deep-foundation work, and careful coordination with ongoing municipal construction. To pull it off, Kokosing brought in heavy-civil talent from our own Kokosing Industrial team. They self-performed the toughest parts of the build. Being able to blend solar engineering with advanced equipment and skilled operators is what sets Kokosing Solar apart on complex projects.
Athens County Solar‑Powered EMS Infrastructure
In Athens County, the new EMS station #51 is a big step forward for sustainable public-safety design. With the help from a $20,000 contribution from SOPEC, the station now features a 34.2 kW solar PV system installed by Kokosing Solar
